Codento strengthens its Nordic growth by acquiring Sweden-based Data Edge

Codento continues its determined expansion across the Nordics by acquiring Stockholm-based Data Edge AB, a specialist in AI, data analytics and advanced data-driven solutions. The acquisition strengthens Codento’s position as one of the leading Google Cloud partners in the Nordics and deepens its ability to support Swedish and Nordic enterprises in using AI to drive business transformation.
Following the acquisition, Codento will grow into an organisation of approximately 75 Google Cloud specialists. The Data Edge team brings strong experience in management consulting, business analytics and the practical application of AI. Its expertise strongly supports Codento’s ambition to help customers turn AI and data investments into measurable competitive advantage and tangible business outcomes.
The acquisition marks the next step in Codento’s growth strategy, launched in autumn 2024 and supported by Saari Partners as the company’s majority owner. The strategy focuses on deepening the impact of AI in Finland while expanding strongly across the Nordic region through both organic growth and selected acquisitions. In November 2025, Codento expanded into Norway by acquiring Oslo-based Intelligence AS, and with the Data Edge acquisition, the company now significantly strengthens its presence in Sweden.
Saari Partners sees Codento’s expansion in Sweden as an important demonstration of the company’s growth capability and the progress of its strategy. In a short period of time, Codento has grown from an annual revenue level of approximately €3 million towards €10 million. At the same time, its position in the Google Cloud ecosystem has continued to strengthen: in April, Codento was recognised as Finland’s Google Cloud Partner of the Year at the Google Cloud Next 2026 event in Las Vegas.
